The girls in 3rd class went on a fantastic art trip to the Hugh Lane Art Gallery. We went on a sketching tour with two artists, where we responded to different art pieces. One of our favourite pieces was a painting called ‘On the Road’ by Paddy Collins.
Then, we went upstairs to the Learning Centre and got the chance to create our own pieces of art. We constructed rabbits using tin foil, masking tape and pipe cleaners!🐰 The artists allowed us to bring our sketch books and rabbits home as a souvenir to remember our lovely day out. We all had a brilliant day!
