A busy week in Room 35!
January 22nd to 26th was a busy week in Room 35.
On Monday some girls created amazing pieces of art from recycled materials they had at home. So much effort was put into each and every one of them and all were amazing!
On Wednesday the girls got to use the new school iPads. They had great fun playing maths and spelling games online.
We welcomed some VIPs into our class on Thursday. It was lovely welcoming grandparents and parents into the class and hearing their stories of what school was like when they were growing up. They gave some important advice to the girls, namely ‘listen to your teacher.’ I think everyone agreed school is much better now compared to the past.
In art we looked at the technique of Pointillism and studied the work of George Seurat. We created our own sunshine landscapes using this technique.
To cap it all off we had Funky Feet Friday where the whole school got that Friday feeling by dancing away!
