Woah what a busy couple of weeks in Room 23. Bhíomar ag scríobh scéal An Chéad Nollaig agus ag foghlaim foclóir Nollag freisin. We mastered multiples, factors and square numbers in Maths. We finished our novel The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and then watched the film adaptation. We found it a very emotional watch.
Along with Room 25 and 27 we performed our play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a wonderful opportunity to show off our hard work and undeniable talent to our families. Everyone- actors, dancers, narrators and prop makers - had a part to play and made Ms.Lyons, Mr.Ó’Domhnaill and Ms.Murray so, so proud 🤩
The showbiz fever definitely caught on because some of us couldn’t stop dancing and singing long after the play was over. 👯♀️ Here’s some video evidence….
The big man in the red suit made time for us in his busy schedule and his little Elf provided many a laugh in our class over the last few days. He even shed some tears on the last day 🥲
Our highlight was definitely our Christmas Day of Fun. We took charge and decided the run of the day….

- Christmas Music Bingo
- Just dance and karaoke
- Hide’n’Seek
and a surprise Christmas breakfast as the cherry on top 🍓🍩
We finished the first term with our Secret Santa gift exchange which provided lots of smiles and hauls galore!
A fantastic first term in 6th class and we look forward to what 2024 brings ✨🙂
