A Historical Tour
21st Nov 2021
Our Sixth Classes were given a wonderful opportunity last week to visit the old St Canice's church ruins and cemetery. We were given a very interesting tour by Dervilla, a historian from Dublin City Council. The girls asked lots of insightful questions about the High Cross and the many different types of graves and crypts that they could see around the grounds.
When the tour was finished we got to create headstone rubbings which was great fun! It is fantastic to have so much history right on our doorsteps.
