What a result! What a team! The girls completed a historic football double as they won the Fingal League final in Parnell Park in a pulsating match against Ballyboughal NS. Going one step further than last year, it was an impeccable performance from the entire squad. The girls were trailing by a single point at half time but raised their game in the second half with two early goals. A 7 point lead was narrowed to just two in the final minute but our determination and quality defending saw us hang on for the win.
There were scenes of jubilation from players, students, supporters, staff and parents at the final whistle. Thanks to all who came to support the girls over the course of the football season. Enjoy some wonderful photos of the occasion.
