March was a busy month in Room 35. We welcomed Ms. Geraghty into our class for three weeks. Ms. Geraghty did loads of fun science experiments with the girls as well as fun games as Gaeilge, Maths and even wrote a letter to their Mammy’s persuading them to bring them to McDonald’s!
There was the Book Fair and World Boom Day (see the earlier posts on these). We had Seachtaine na Gaeilge and our Lá Glas where we all wore our green outfits and danced in the Céilí Mór in the yard!
On Thursday the 21st the girls had a YES DAY where Mr. O’Callaghan had to say Yes to everything! This happened because we had 7 days of full attendance in March which is terrific achievement!
Everyone enjoyed extra play time, art, time in the sensory room, an Easter egg hunt, musical statues, musical treats, lots of treats and they spent the afternoon in Johnstown Park. Great craic was had by everyone!!
