November, the story so far 🪴👩🏻🔬🥇
November is already off to a flying start in Room 23.
We got our green fingers out and planted bulbs as part of the Crocus Project in memory of children who died during the Holocaust. We’ve learned a lot about WW2 in History and are continuing to learn more as we make our way through our class novel The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas.
Some of us are very pleased to have completed the Marathon Kids programme, meaning no more laps of the basketball court. We travelled to Morton Stadium and ran a mile, crossing over the line to receive a medal. 🏃🏽♀️🥇
Ms. Lyons set us a STEM challenge as part of Science Week. We were tasked with building the tallest free standing tower using only ONE material- tinfoil! Ella, Leah, Ruby and Summer showed great teamwork as well as engineering skill to construct a 55cm tower, that had a good solid foundation and took the prize. 👩🏻🔬
