Our very last first day in St.Canice’s GNS.
We’ve made a great start to our year in 6th class. We made the most of the sunshine with some outdoor learning.🌞 A lovely day in Johnstown Park with our buddy readers on our school walk. We can now call ourselves experts on the topic of the USA’s Civil Rights Movement. 🇺🇸We went full explorer mode when we researched the spider in science and did some sample collecting around the school grounds 🕷A group from the Irish Traveller community paid us a visit and told us loads about their traditions and heritage. Air hockey has proved popular in PE. No uniform day was a superb end to a lovely first month in Room 23.
